The double wall surrounding the biohazard symbol in our logo represents awareness and education. Although our indoor environments can naturally contain hazards, a small amount of awareness and education can help us contain these hazards and maintain them at acceptable levels.

RespirCare Analytical provides biohazard awareness, consulting and investigation to consumers as well as consulting and educational services for the indoor environmental quality industry. Current training programs include microbial sampling, radon measurement, data interpretation, real estate transfer legal issues and various continuing educational programs for IEQ and IAQ industry professionals.

All RespirCare Analytical Associates (RespirNet Members) have received countless hours of indoor environmental training and have agreed to maintain their skill through continuing education programs. RespirCare Training Courses are approved for continuing education credits by various associations included but not limited to the following:

Radon & Radon Decay Products Measurement Course
This course is approved by the national certification organizations (NEHA-NRPP and NRSB) and is a pre-requisite for taking the certification exams. Appropriate for individuals planning to place and retrieve radon measurement devices and for the Responsible Party for an Analytical Laboratory. You will learn about the health risks of radon, factors that influence radon measurements, basic radon measurement techniques, common measurement devices, and a brief overview of radon mitigation methods. All of which is presented in a manner making it applicable to your business and providing you with practical, useful information.

Allergen, Asthma Triggers & ERMI Mold Sampling Course
The participants of this course will understand the basic principles of asthma triggers and learn to utilize the EPA Relative Moldiness Index (ERMI) sampling method as a diagnostic tool for indoor air quality (IAQ) contamination in residential structures. Students will learn and demonstrate a proficiency of allergen sampling and assessment methods. This will include equipment usage and the inspecting of residential structures for asthma triggers. In addition, students that successfully complete this training course will be able to offer their clients indoor air quality (IAQ) improvement items such as stand alone HEPA filtration units and HEPA designed vacuum cleaners.

Council Certified Residential Mold Inspector (IAQA-CRMI)
The participants of this course will understand the basic principles of indoor air quality (IAQ) contamination including fungal (mold) and other allergen contamination in residential structures. Students will learn and be able to demonstrate knowledge of the Indoor Environmental Standards Organization (IESO) sampling and assessment standards. This will include equipment usage in swabs, tape, air sampling for cultureable and spore trap cassettes, dust collection, and the standard for inspecting residential structures for IAQ contamination. Students will know the proper procedures for the paperwork involved i.e. chain of custody forms and laboratory reports. In addition, they will acquire a fundamental understanding of laboratory reports and how to interpret the results from those reports according to recognized guidelines.
